Our Medical Hospice Care

  • Nurse Visits

Our nurses can provide in-home visits with a variety of medical services such as monitoring vitals, administering medication, performing x-rays, ultrasounds, blood work and urine testing. We also offer bedside nursing for crisis management.

  • Home Health Aide Visits

Home Health Aides will monitor vitals, while also assisting patients with everyday tasks. We will assist with shopping for groceries, laundry, cooking, personal hygiene and more.

  • Mobile X-Ray and Ultrasound

Our team will bring x-ray and ultrasound equipment for testing upon request. These diagnostic tests will be sent to a doctor to determine if there is an additional health issue that needs to be addressed.

  • Physical Therapy

Part of helping the quality of life while in hospice is helping our patients improve their mobility through physical therapy. We want to help your loved one sit, walk, stand, and get up and out of bed or wheelchair and use the restroom on their own. We tailor exercises based on our patients’ specific needs.

  • In-Home Blood Work and Urinalysis

Blood work and urinalysis can be used to determine if a patient’s health is declining due to a health issue outside of the terminal illness and can determine the cause. After analysis, we will create a plan of action for treatment. We will transport the medical equipment into the comfort of the patient’s home.

Non-Medical Care

  • Spiritual Service

If any of our patients have an interest in religious or spiritual guidance, then our team will organize visits from religious professionals such as chaplains and rabbis. We don not require our patients to have religious affiliations to receive spiritual services; we can provide staff who can discuss philosophic and emotional issues with them if needed.

  • Pet Therapy

We have many patients that have done well and responded positively to pet therapy. They have found companionship with dogs and cats and have decreased stress and anxiety.

  • Music Therapy

Music therapy is a new method of tapping into a patient’s emotions, that we use to encourage joy, entertainment, and other positive feelings. It also has physical benefits, as it can reduce heart rate, blood pressure, and even lessen physical pain.
